Borrow Before I Buy
Why buy something I will only use once or a few times if someone nearby has it for me to borrow, and why not share something I have that someone may only need a few times a year? To reduce my consumption and waste, I will create or support the sharing economy with friends, family, colleagues or neighbors.

Courtney McHugh 4/15/2024 7:57 AMThis week and last, I had posted in a Facebook group to upcycle used furniture that was tossed out by neighbors. The neighbors are moving and unloading furniture that has a lot of life left in it. Trying to keep it out of landfills, I had shared in a few groups I am for those that could benefit from the freebies. Luckily this week someone finally picked it up before bulk pick up had come. I have also been busy planting my veggies and flowers in my pots
