I attended the St Louis Earth Day Festival, it was a great day for spring. I talked to different organizations; one of them was the Stream Teams United that promotes quality water for the State of Missouri.
Well done! My daughter moved to St. Louis from Oregon 3 years ago, and she said that recycling isn't as common there as it is here. Maybe it's more her neighborhood, so I hope I don't sound like I'm judging. It takes time, and I'm glad to see that there was an Earth Day event (she works weekends and couldn't attend). Each small step builds on another small step!

More challenging week, with travel, field and lab work, it is more difficult to conciliate Ecochallenge actions. Plus a tornado warning/thunderstorm almost prevented me from using my bike today! Anyway, I found an earth day festival in Forest Park Saint Louis this coming weekend, that should be inspiring and full of new ideas...
What did you learn about the practice and benefits of regenerative agriculture? How can you support healthy farming practices for people and the planet?
Regenerative agriculture includes no-till farming, cover cropping [that enriches the soil in organic matters and retains water], and rotational grazing. There are many misconceptions about this practice, loss of production, use of herbicides, expensive equipment. A few States like California give incentives to conduct regenerative farming. Personally I can start to look for certified regenerative food and ask my local stores the sources of their food.
Pierre, I was thrilled to find a resource that listed local businesses and organizations that utilize regenerative agriculture. The guide even listed the area stores that carry their products, making things very easy for me.
